The Walrus Audio Xero Polylooper is built for writing, practicing, and performing: two fully independent loop channels, fast foot control, and creative playback tools (speed, reverse, and polyrhythms) without menu-diving. Record, layer, and reshape ideas in real time with a workflow that stays performance-friendly.

Each channel delivers up to 3 minutes of looping with near-infinite stacking and unlimited overdubs, plus per-channel volume and panning for precise stereo placement. Run channels independently or stack them together for complex arrangements on the fly. Engage Speed FX to jump between half/normal/double speed, or flip direction with reverse, with independent control per channel.

For sync and structure, Xero offers three modes:

• Sync Mode: all loops stay aligned to the first recorded loop.

• Unsynced Mode: each channel can run completely independent loop lengths.

• Poly Mode: create polyrhythms using shared time divisions (3:4, 5:7, etc.), with MIDI clock support for tight syncing.

Control is handled via intuitive stomp gestures (tap/hold/double-press combinations) for record/play, undo, stop, Speed FX, and full stop/erase actions—no complicated tap dances. For even more control, add an external dual-stomp switch to command both channels simultaneously.
