The Catalinbread Sabbra Cadabra is built around the core of Tony Iommi’s early rig: an always-on treble booster slamming a hot Laney Supergroup. It delivers that interaction in a pedal format that’s practical for modern stage volumes—no back-breaking backline required.
The signal flow is simple and amp-like: Range → Gain → Presence → Vol. 4. Range is the secret weapon—it shapes the treble-booster front end by sweeping between two input caps (small vs large), letting you decide how much low end hits the drive section and how the whole circuit gels with your amp. The design stems from Catalinbread’s Naga Viper concept (with Boost/Heat effectively maxed), leaving you direct control over the input frequency voicing.
Gain behaves like a Supergroup gain control: keep it lower for British crunch, or crank it for tube-melting heaviness. Presence works like an amp presence circuit, dumping variable frequencies to ground for a full-bodied master tone control that helps you sit exactly where you want. And Vol. 4 is—no joke—LOUD.
Gold’N White limited edition: special finish for Europe (not available in the USA, UK, or other markets).

Range is the key. Vol. 4 is the warning.
