The Electronic Audio Experiments Sending Limited Edition White is a high-end analog BBD delay that combines the archaic, organic voice of bucket brigade chips with a fully modern digital control system. This is not a digital delay pretending to be analog: at its core are two MN3005 BBDs, supported by advanced analog processing to deliver up to 1 full second of delay without the typical clock noise of many vintage BBD units — and even longer times if you want musical degradation, grit and texture.
In terms of sonic family, Sending sits in the world of classic analog BBD delays — Deluxe Memory Man, Moog MF-104, DM-2/DM-3, studio-style analog echoes and characterful bucket brigade machines — but pushed into a far deeper, more flexible and contemporary format. It is not a clone of any one classic: it is a modern interpretation of analog delay as an expressive instrument.
At the input, Sending features a discrete preamp that ranges from subtle enhancement to warm full-range saturation. In trails bypass mode, that preamp can also be used as an always-on drive/boost, even when the delay itself is bypassed. That makes Sending more than a delay pedal — it can become part of your core tone.
The repeat-shaping section is huge. The dual-mode Filter lets you sculpt echoes into deep, dark pulses or bright dub-style repeats. The delay-time LFO offers sine, square and triangle waves, plus a unique Chaos function based on Lorenz-attractor-style randomness, taking the pedal from gentle movement to beautifully unstable modulation.
All of this is conducted by a 32-bit / 100MHz processor, enabling presets, MIDI, tap tempo, subdivisions, EXP/CV control and digital access to nearly every parameter — while keeping the delay line analog. You can save and recall up to 32 presets: three from the front panel and the rest via MIDI.
The Limited Edition White finish gives one of EAE’s most ambitious analog delays a special look: a deep creative machine for ambient, shoegaze, post-rock, dub, studio work, sound design, or any player who wants an analog delay that goes far beyond “nice echoes.”

An analog delay that doesn’t look back — it captures the past, modulates it, and turns it into the future.
