The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin® is designed to make using real pedals/hardware with your DAW as seamless as using a plugin—and to let you run plugins inside your live pedalboard/amp rig through a simple USB-C connection, without needing extra converters, DI boxes, or reamp gear.

It runs in three modes:

• Hardware Plugin Mode: send DAW tracks through pedals/hardware like an external plugin insert.
• Pedalboard Mode: route your instrument into the DAW, through plugins, and back out to your signal chain—turning plugins into “pedals.”
• Audio Interface Mode: works as a standard 2-in/2-out USB audio interface.

You also get stereo inputs and outputs with dedicated level sliders, plus a headphone output with volume control. The unit includes a power supply and USB-C cable, and the companion plugin formats support Mac (VST3/AU/AAX) and Windows (VST3/AAX).
