The JAM Pedals Delay Llama XTREME May the 4th Edition 2026 is a limited galactic-inspired edition of the most advanced delay in the Delay Llama family. It keeps the analog BBD heart and warm organic character of the series, while adding modern control for both traditional delay players and fearless sound explorers.
This special edition will be made in a very specific way: JAM will build exactly as many units as are ordered before the deadline, and not a single one more. Once the order window closes, this version is gone. Same extreme analog machine, same creative potential, now with a special finish for players who want something limited, different and collectible.
In terms of sonic family, the Delay Llama XTREME sits in the world of great BBD analog delays — warm, dark, musical echoes that recall the spirit of Deluxe Memory Man, Boss DM-2, Maxon AD-9 and tape-echo-style machines — but pushed much further. It is not a clone of any one classic: it is a modern interpretation of analog delay with features usually associated with digital pedals.
At its core are 3 × 3205 BBD chips, delivering up to 800ms of analog delay. The repeats keep that organic quality, with musical degradation, depth and a natural way of blending into the dry signal. But the XTREME goes far beyond “beautiful delay”: it adds tap tempo with subdivisions, 4 presets, Hold for self-oscillation, kill-dry, true bypass or buffered trails, delay-time expression/CV input, remote tap tempo and remote preset selection.
The wild side comes from its 4 XTREME modes, all based on musical manipulation of delay time:
Vibrato adds sine-wave LFO modulation, with Depth and Speed controls, for subtle motion, chorus-like movement or deeper analog vibrato.
Tape-age recreates slight random pitch variations from a worn tape echo machine, adding warble, instability and vintage-machine feel.
Random changes the millisecond value of the repeats at fixed time intervals, creating abrupt pitch and rhythmic shifts.
Pitch-shift gives you 5 pitch-shifted intervals and 5 playback patterns, including a 5-mode sequencer that turns the delay into a melodic and experimental instrument.
The magic of Delay Llama XTREME is that it can behave like a classic warm analog delay, or become a machine for modulation, pitch, oscillation and unexpected textures. This May the 4th Edition 2026 turns it into an even more special piece: only the pre-ordered units will exist. After that, it disappears into hyperspace.
The Delay Llama XTREME May the 4th Edition 2026 will not have an expandable fixed run. JAM Pedals will build exactly as many units as are ordered before the deadline. Once the order window closes, this edition will not be available again.

The Delay Llama was sent to the future and came back with three BBDs, four extreme modes and a galactic edition built to disappear.
