The Pedaltrain Classic JR with Soft Case is one of those pedalboards that explains why Pedaltrain became an industry standard: lightweight, strong, simple and built to survive years of gigs, rehearsals, studio work and pedalboard changes.

In terms of format, the Classic JR is based on the original PT-JR, one of Pedaltrain’s most popular layouts. It keeps the traditional four-rail design and classic rail spacing, but updates the platform with an open front that makes under-board power supply mounting far more flexible. The old portholes are gone, leaving more freedom for power, cabling and layout.

With its 18″ × 12.5″ surface, the Classic JR hits a very useful middle ground: compact enough to carry easily, but large enough for a serious pedal setup. The approximately 3.5″ elevation gives room for power supplies underneath, cleaner cable routing and easier access to second-row pedals.

This version includes the new Deluxe MX Soft Case, a deeper and upgraded soft case designed to better accommodate taller pedals. It features a water-resistant exterior shell, SBS zippers, an exterior accessory pocket, easy-wipe interior and a premium padded shoulder strap. It is ideal for players who want practical transport without moving up to a hard tour case.

The package also includes professional-grade hook-and-loop and zip ties, so you can start building your board right away. As always with Pedaltrain, the aluminum frame is light, strong and free from moving parts, screws or anything unnecessary that could fail.
