The AC noises CONTINUA is a stereo dynamic sampler and multi-effect that doesn’t simply repeat what you play: it listens to your performance, reacts in real time and transforms repeats according to your attack, dynamics and playing feel. It is built to turn phrases, chords, hits and textures into living material: ghost loops, broken repeats, frozen layers, glitches, smeared tails and ambience that moves with you.
In terms of sonic territory, CONTINUA sits among dynamic samplers, micro-loopers, glitch delays, granular/ambient processors and experimental multi-effects. It is not based on one classic pedal; it comes from a more contemporary idea: using real-time sampling as an expressive instrument, not just a playback device.
The pedal was born from the collaboration between AC noises and Andrea Degli Esposti of BunkerNoise, and that shows in its design: deep, but hands-on. You can shape parameters such as mix, tempo, pitch, sustain, freeze, glitch, dimension, lo-fi, downsampling, reverb, smear and filter, plus secondary controls including in-fx, sensibility, threshold, attack, release and stereo spread.
One key feature is that your dry signal can remain completely untouched or be routed through the multi-effect section as well. That gives you two very different ways to use it: as a parallel layer that blooms around your core tone, or as a full transformation of everything entering the pedal.
CONTINUA also lets you decide whether repeats move forward or in reverse, and whether they appear fully formed or dissolve into ghostly tails. When you need everything to break apart, the momentary Tilt function unleashes instant chaos — perfect for transitions, accents, ruptures and sound-design moments.
Although it is clearly an experimental tool, it is built for modern rigs: it offers two onboard presets, full MIDI implementation with mini-jack input and output, USB-C for MIDI integration and firmware updates, plus flexible routing options: mono to mono, mono to stereo and stereo to stereo.

A sampler that doesn’t repeat your sound: it listens, follows it, and turns it into something else.
