The Ethane Dual Overdrive combines two of Browne’s most loved circuits in one compact unit: the Carbon V2 and the Gritador. The goal is simple: one side for a refined Bluesbreaker-style drive (clean boost through dynamic overdrive), and the other for a modernized Screamer-style voice (balanced mids, solid low end, lively feel) — built to stack beautifully.

Carbon V2 side (Bluesbreaker)
Open, amp-like, and dynamic. From sparkly clean push to driven tones, plus a 3-way Hi-Cut toggle to tame highs for stacking or brighter rigs.

Gritador side (Screamer)
A reworked Screamer approach with a more balanced midrange, stronger low end, and asymmetrical clipping for a vocal, articulate drive that cuts without harshness.

Stack responsibly
Use either side as a core drive, or stack both for a wide gain palette — warm boosts to singing leads with rich harmonics. Soft switching, adjustable startup state, and an internal split option make it easy to integrate into modern boards and switcher rigs.
