Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star Stereo Reverb

DARK STAR: Lo-Fi Reverb & Pitch-Shifting Soundscape Generator

| Stereo In/Out | MIDI-Controlled Textures |

Where Reverb Becomes an Instrument.

The Dark Star isn’t just an effect—it’s a fully playable sound-design tool that transforms your signal into haunting pads, degraded tape echoes, and pitch-shifted ambience. With dual pitch shifters, analog dry-through, and MIDI control, it’s the ultimate pedal for ambient explorers and studio alchemists.

Why This Redefines Lo-Fi Reverb

✔ Dual Pitch Engines: -2 to +2 octaves per voice → organ-like harmonies or unstable detuning
✔ Destruction Controls:
→ Crush: Bit reduction or tape-style saturation
→ Lag: Slapback to sludgy pre-delay
→ Multiply: Infinite feedback for rising/falling drones
✔ Stereo Spread: Opposite panning for 3D soundfields
✔ MIDI/Expression: Map any parameter to external controllers

Signature Soundscapes

◉ Ambient Pads: Pitch1 +1oct, Pitch2 -1oct, Max Decay = choir of ghosts
◉ Degraded Tape: Crush (sample rate) + Lag = lo-fi cassette decay
◉ Doom Catalyst: Multiply + High Pass Filter = subharmonic terror

Studio-Grade Flexibility

▸ Analog Dry-Through (zero latency)
▸ Trails or True Bypass
▸ 9V DC (350mA)
▸ Aux Switch: Freeze / Filter Sweep / Pitch Jump

“Not a pedal—a portal to alternate dimensions.”
