The ȘTÖRKN B0kš is a modified/ augmented version of our Stonk Box pedal, created in collaboration with the main inspiration of the Stonk Box, legendary experimental guitarist and composer David Torn! ȘTÖRKN B0kš is a confused/- confusing and vaguely nordic mashup of “Stonk Box” and “Torn”. It utilizes our automatic thermal bias, so after plugging it into power (9vdc only), it will take 2-3 minutes on average to sound correct. The color of the LED indicator light might change. Don’t turn the internal trimmer.

ȘTÖRKN B0KŠ: Germanium Fuzz with Thermal Auto-Bias – David Torn Edition
Thermal Auto-Bias Technology | Variable Bass Control | Positive Feedback | David Torn Collaboration
The Nordic Evolution of Legendary Fuzz: Where Tradition Meets Experimentation
The ȘTÖRKN B0kš represents the culmination of a unique collaboration between Frantone Electronics and legendary experimental guitarist David Torn. This modified and augmented version of the Stonk Box combines the authenticity of the classic Tone Bender mk1 with radical technical innovations, creating a fuzz that transcends conventional boundaries. With its exclusive thermal auto-bias technology and expanded controls, this pedal delivers everything from faithful vintage tones to brutal, subterranean textures.
Revolutionary Thermal Bias Technology
Active Heating: Analog circuit that heats germanium transistors (2N404 or 2N527) for optimal bias
Smart Visual Indication: LED changes from amber to green when correct bias is reached
Warm-up Time: 2-3 minutes to reach optimal sound when powered
Total Consistency: Stable sound independent of ambient temperature
Exclusive Design Features
Variable Bass Control: Transition from original Zonk Machine sound to open mk1 fuzz
Positive Feedback Switch: Created for sonic experimentation and synth-like effects
Selected NOS Transistors: Premium germanium for vintage authenticity
Factory Calibration: Internal trimmer pre-set (do not adjust to maintain warranty)
Unique Sonic Applications
Subterranean Fuzz: Low-frequency amplification for alternate tunings
Synthesizer Textures: Filter and modulated effects through positive feedback
Controlled Brutality: From vintage fuzz to tearing distortion
Live Experimentation: Chaotic capabilities for risky performances
